To end Jacinto & Lirio’s Anniversary sale for the month of August (Yeeyyyyy we’re 2 years old!!!), we participated in a bazaar organized by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines where a very high percentage of our sales was donated to this prestigious organization.
Museum Foundation of the Philippines is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to developing greater awareness and appreciation in the Filipino people of our country’s rich artistic and cultural heritage in partnership with the National Museum & its network.
It was such a blessing because we were placed right in front of the Archeology Annex of Powerplant mall! Our sales here was one of the best so far for our retail category.
Here, the age range of our buyers was really very wide.
We had a customer named Michael whom I think is only around 10 years old.
Michael with his own Kwaderno by Jacinto & Lirio (Spes-medium and Pacem-mini)
…and also one of our “suki” buyers
…grandmothers and grandchildren
What added more flavor to this experience was bumping into one of our first prototype designers way back in Ateneo’s Prototype Day: Ms. Dita Sandico Ong–a famous Filipino designer known for utilizing indigenous banana and pina fiber
Below is a sample of the clutch and wallet she designed for Jacinto & Lirio’s SOMBA (School of Management Business Accelerator Program) first major school requirement for the summer of 2009.
This is me on the 3rd day of the bazaar wearing one of my favourite shoes <which got destroyed that day 😦 > Apparently the soles of the shoe wasn’t glued well. It only had a thin strip that looked like thick double sided tape in the middle.
The response of our sale was very good that we decided to extend it this month of September (except for our journals)!
So ladies (and loving boyfriends), SUPPORT and INVEST on a Jacinto & Lirio bag now (…while supplies last!!!) Visit our website at http://www.jacintoandlirio.com
