Concept: Lookbook

April 11, 2012

Right after my final exam for the beginners level of the dressmaking course, I immediately ran to the secondary level classroom. I was in a hurry to start because with my schedule it would take me atleast 7-8 months to finish a course that a student who attended everyday would finish in 2-3 monthsmeaning, I had to finish it by July 2012.

I checked my schedule and it seemed impossible for me to finish it on time as I had to travel literally every month (almost) for our EMBELLISH and TERRIE.

January: China

February: Thailand (got cancelled)

April: Korea (visa got delayed)

May: Australia

June: Hong Kong

Speaking of China, we just had our EMBELLISH summer shoot last April 9. Yes, it’s quite late for summer. We should have released the collection by this time already; but, despite the fact that it was a holiday—right after Holy Week in fact, I am very much hankful for the time that these people have given in making this photoshoot a reality:

The next BIG fashion photographer John Joshua Go

GORGEOUS models

Erika Uichanco,

Aislinn Lim,

Janine Sau,

and Michelle Mariposa (with TERRIFIC stylists Samantha Sandra Chua & Riana Chua)

Amazing MUA and Hairstylist: Shamcee and Kassandra (Thanks to Tita Bong)

and ofcourse the rest of the Embellish Team Terrie Mariposa, Paulo Sancho Gutierrez, Sandra, as well as the house helpers of the Mariposa and Chua clan.

Here is a sneakpeak of the “Lookbook” Summer 2012 Collection of EMBELLISH!

Thank you Joshua for working on this right after the photoshoot. (WOW. That is what I call dedication!!!)

Stay tuned for more photos to be uploaded at
